Add “Copy to folder” and “Move to folder” options to Right Click Menu



In the day to day works with pc we all need to Copy or Move files, folders. But you Copy or Move files just by the right click menu. You can easily Copy/Move files by adding “Copy to folder” / “Move to folder” options to your right click menu and it looks like follows.   We can enable this function very easily without using any software in just few steps.



Step #1. First open the Registry Editor. ( Just press Windows key + R and then type regedit and click OK. )

Step #2. Now you have to go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
First go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ AllFilesystemObjects .( Just press Ctrl + F and then type AllFilesystemObjects and click OK). Then Expand AllFilesystemObjects and then expand shellex and right select on ContextMenuHandlers .


Step #3. Then Right Click on ContextMenuHandlers and select New and select Key.

Step #4. Rename it as “Copy to”.( or any other)

Step #5. Then double click on (Default) and set the value as ,
{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
And press OK. Now you have added “Copy to folder” to your right click menu.

Step #6. Now you can just repeat Step #3 and Step #4 to add “Move to folder”. Similarly  you can add a New key and rename it as “Move to”(or any other)

Step #7. Then double click on (Default)  in new key and set the value as ,
{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
And OK.

Step #. Now you can see “Copy to folder” and “Move to folder” options are enabled. Enjoy. Don’t forget to Comment, Share.
